Heavy Diesel Fitters

Force is seeking Heavy Diesel Fitters to join our Mackay Workshop team.

This role brings something different with the opportunity to specialise in Transmission rebuilds, Engine rebuilds and assembly across the Emeco fleet. 

Holding previous experience in rebuilds or wanting to grow your mechanical background, we have roles across our Mackay based workshop, allowing you work on HME and still be home every night.

What Will Your Day Look Like?

• Working in our 1st class facility, you will be rebuilding and repairing CAT powertrain components, transmissions and engines, specialising in CAT 777, 789, 793, 797 trucks & D10, D11 dozers.
• Ensuring quality control and compiling reports.
• Managing jobs and supporting a small team to meet daily targets.
• Performing maintenance repairs within company guidelines and cost targets.
• Collaborating with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Australian recognised Heavy Diesel trade qualification.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
